| dc.description | This study has focused on exposing the history of the legislative function, especially in Ecuador and see the need to a code of ethics that can regulate the actions of our assemblymen. The national assembly of Ecuador is the institution that is in charge to elaborate, on one hand, laws to be in conformity with the needs of the citizens and on the other monitor all state act. | dc.description.abstract | Este Estudio se ha enfocado en exponer la historia de la Función Legislativa, especialmente en el Ecuador y ver la necesidad de poseer un Código de Ética que pueda normar las acciones de nuestros Asambleístas. La Asamblea Nacional del Ecuador es la institución que se encarga de elaborar, por un lado, leyes que vayan en conformidad con las necesidades de los ciudadanos; y por otro fiscalizar todo acto estatal. La Función Legislativa en el Ecuador posee, según la Constitución de 1998, en su tiempo, y la del 2008, varias facultades, las cuales le brindan un alto imperio político sobre el resto de entidades y funciones del Estado.
