| dc.description | This work aims to know the perceptions of patients living with HIV about the dental care received in the health centers of district 18D02 urban parishes Celiano Monge to Pishilata and rural parishes Huachi grande to Totoras Health in Ecuador , and understand the stigmatized side of the epidemic. METHOD; This study will use a retrospective cross sectional quantitative research design to evaluate the perception of patients living with HIV on dental care, during the second half of 2023 July December. DATA COLLECTION; Non probabilistic convenience sampling will be used to select participants from the study population. The sample size was calculated using a 95 percent confidence level and a 5 percent margin of error. A structured survey was designed based on the specific objectives of the research. The survey includes closed questions to analyze the perceptions of patients with HIV regarding the dental care received, as well as to identify if there are perceived barriers to accessing dental services. DATA ANALYSIS; Descriptive statistical techniques supported by a statistical system SPSS will be used to analyze the data obtained through the survey, such as frequencies, percentages and correlation analysis, as appropriate. RESULTS; It is expected that the results of this research will provide a comprehensive view of the perception of patients with HIV regarding the dental care received in the health centers of District 18D02 in Ecuador, and that they will contribute to improving the quality of the dental services offered. to this population group. | es_ES |
| dc.description.abstract | Este trabajo tiene como objetivo conocer las percepciones de los pacientes viviendo con VIH sobre la atención odontológica recibida en los centros de salud del distrito 18D02 Parroquias urbanas Celiano Monge a Pishilata y parroquias rurales Huachi grande a Totoras Salud en Ecuador, y comprender el costado estigmatizado de la epidemia. METODO; Este estudio utilizará un diseño de investigación cuantitativa transversal retrospectivo para evaluar la percepción de los pacientes viviendo con VIH sobre la atención odontológica, durante el segundo semestre del año 2023 julio diciembre. RECOLECCION DE DATOS; Se utilizará un muestreo no probabilístico por conveniencia para seleccionar a los participantes de la población de estudio. Se calculó el tamaño de la muestra utilizando un nivel de confianza del 95 por ciento y un margen de error del 5 por ciento. Se diseñó una encuesta estructurada basada en los objetivos específicos de la investigación. La encuesta incluye preguntas cerradas para analizar las percepciones de los pacientes con VIH respecto a la atención odontológica recibida, así como para identificar si existen barreras percibidas para acceder a servicios odontológicos. ANALISIS DE DATOS; Se utilizarán técnicas estadísticas descriptivas apoyados en un sistema estadístico SPSS para analizar los datos obtenidos a través de la encuesta, como frecuencias, porcentajes y análisis de correlación, según corresponda. RESULTADOS; se espera que los resultados de esta investigación proporcionen una visión integral de la percepción de los pacientes con VIH sobre la atención odontológica recibida en los centros de salud del Distrito 18D02 en Ecuador, y que contribuyan a mejorar la calidad de los servicios odontológicos ofrecidos a este grupo de población. | es_ES |
