dc.description | The following business plan is an administrative, strategic, commercial and financial research with the purpose of analyzing the viability of settling a company dedicated to the production and commercialize a sparkling alcoholic beverage, based on cocoa fruit in Quito, which will be branded as Pétillant. The aim of this project is providing the Ecuadorian market a new product with different characteristics from any traditional sparkling wine, since it becomes from cocoa, the most recognized fruit of Ecuador. In addition, it will have attributes such as the exquisite aroma provided by the French barrels, the citrus-sweet taste of cocoa fruit without additional sweeteners which is also high in vitamins, antioxidants and minerals. Ecuador is a rich country in agriculture, with finest fruit standards, whom must be seen as a business opportunity and adding value to the project, especially because cocoa fruit is not being totally used by agricultures, focusing mostly on the crop of seeds for the chocolate production. Additionally, according to OMS, Ecuador is the second country in South America with the largest rate of alcoholic beverages consumption. Identifying both opportunities, the idea of this business plan product was born and further being analyzed in deep. Likewise, a market research and financial analysis were carried out to support and determine the viability of the project, resulting a highly profitable and attractive business plan, which is not only endorsed by an environment with good performance, but also it is backed up by a significant amount of consumers, well appealing financial index and valuation criteria. | en |
