Descripción : The aim of the present project is to produce the single Tú eres mi sol by the artist Camilo Granda, in salsa version, applying production tools for the optimization of the project, and musical and technical resources to obtain a product that is attractive to the public. Planning is most importance for the development of the project, several alternatives or contingency plans must be considered to comply with the planning and quality standards. A schedule of activities was drawn up with the periods corresponding to the Musical Production I and Musical Production II courses of the Recording and Musical Production career. The first recording of theme, is a composite version in ballad genre, with Little instrumentation and in most cases with virtual instruments. The theme was redesigned by changing it to salsa - pop rhythm, the structure of the song was modified and olso the tempo, arrangements were made for voices, winds, percussion, and piano. This entire process was done on a DAW (Digital Audio Workstation) using virtual instruments, which reduced production costs. It was also necessary to elaborate scores detailed enough to approach the objective set. The recording process was made with professional session musicians, who interpreted the instrument while they read the scores, making the recording times short. The result was a different song to the original, with contemporary sound and danceable rhythm, with more dynamics, nuances and musical arrangements, recorded mostly with real instruments.
