Descripción : The objective of this paper is to analyze the relationship between work-family interaction and work performance in commercial advisors of a multinational mass consumption company. For this, the frequency of work-family interaction will be defined, after which the performance evaluation model and KPI used in the organization in order to identify the interaction between the two aforementioned variables. It is a quantitative study because it has two quantifiable variables. The first variable is Work-Family Interaction, which will be measured through the “Work- Family Interaction Questionnaire SWING” which allows analyzing the interaction not only of work towards family, also family towards work, defining itself not only as a negative influence but also as a positive one. These questionnaire contains 22 items distributed in 4 sub-scales, these scales being Work-Family Negative Interaction, Family-Work Negative Interaction, Positive Work-Family Interaction and Positive Family-Work Interaction. The other variable will be measured based on performance indicators. From the analyses made from several previous studies it has been determined that there is some kind of interaction between these two variables. However, to show significant changes it is important that a considerable period of time elapses because the changes must be gradual. For it to become evident in work performance it is important to go through other steps such as organizational commitment, sense of belonging and improvement of working environment. For this, different intervention strategies are proposed, depending on the type, size and state of the company. These strategies are located in a matrix of 4 quadrants, divided from the 4 possible results established in the hypotheses of the present work. These proposals have been made based on the possible results that could be obtained from the questionnaire, the bibliographic review on pages such as Great Place to Work and even the good practices required for the EFR certification, “Family Responsible Company”.
