Descripción : The objective of the study is to analyze the factors associated with resilience on the parents of children with Down syndrome, from an ecological-systemic perspective, at a family and school level of a child. The research has a qualitative approach focused on understanding the psychic phenomenon of the factors associated with resilience, with a descriptive scope and a narrative design. Therefore, the purpose is to understand the influence of the risk factor that is defined as that which increases the probability of a negative outcome and the protective factor, defined as that which reduces the effect of a risk factor, both from a familiar and educational context through the application of a semi-structured interview of seven questions with an approximate duration of 60 minutes. The interviews are aimed for the parents of children with Down syndrome, who are part of the institution, who do not have another child with a disability and who do not have a close family member with any catastrophic illness. The interviews will be carried out within the educational center and will end with the delivery of the final report to the institution with the interpretation of the results.
