Descripción : Background Data: At the stage of pregnancy women is physiology changes completely, as an example fluid retention starting at the sixth month of gestation, especially in the distal parts of the body such as feet, which causes discomfort to perform daily activities. Objective: The objective of this study is to compare the effect of Kinesio-taping vs Manual Lymphatic Drainage regarding to the perimeters mobility and feeling of heaviness in lower limb edema in pregnant women. Material and methods: Fifteen pregnant women starting from their third month of pregnancy participated in this research. All of them were randomly distributed in three groups of five women each one. The first one was considered The Control Group (GC), which did not receive any treatment. The second one was composed by a group of pregnant women who received Manual Lymphatic Drainage (GDLM) for six consecutive days. Finally, the third group was composed by patients in which Kinesio- taping was applied and replaced two times during six days of treatment (GKT).
