Descripción : Proposal Interior of a gallery - Recycled Art boutique in the Historic Center of Quito In Ecuador, more than 4.000.000 tons of garbage are generated annually. 43 percent comes from the city of Quito. Likewise, the capital has begun the process of recycling 640 tons of garbage per month. Process carried out by people dedicated to the recovery of reusable solid waste. Recycling has become a business alternative for entrepreneurs in the country. Its main objective is the protection and conservation of natural resources. That is why the reuse of materials has led to the creation of new forms and novel works of art. The objective of this project is to carry out the interior intervention of a deteriorated colonial house located in the center of Quito. With the purpose of implementing a gallery - boutique exclusively dedicated to the exhibition of recycled art. However, there are plenty of art galleries, but insufficient for the exhibition of recycled works. Specifically, it seeks to give a place to artistic entrepreneurs to exhibit and sell their products, promoting the economy and tourism. The project will be directed to the cultural field and will be developed in the facilities of a patrimonial house located in the street Chile Oe6-173, sector El Tejar, in the historic center of the city of Quito. Likewise, it seeks to be intervened maintaining its typology of the Quito colonial era. The house lies on an area of approximately 700 m2 and has three floors. To this end, areas destined for workshops, warehouses, gallery and commercial area for exhibition products will be established, as well as a bar-cafeteria with the aim of proposing a creative, pleasant and functional design. The research has as its scope, the interiorist intervention of a gallery-boutique focused on recycled art, the same that meets the needs of users and visitors for its normal development.
