Descripción : The main objective of this paper is to analyze the viability of the exportation of sweet toasted corn to the United States (New York), through the creation of the company Crazy Corn. For this project, meticulous studies of the external environment were carried out that helped to diagnose the opportunities, threats and risks that exist to enter to this market. In the same way, quantitative and qualitative research was used to determine tastes, preferences and lifestyle of consumers in order to define the target market and the characteristics of the product. Crazy Corn is a company created with the purpose of promoting employment in Ecuador, especially in the province of Manabí. In spite of helping this area on its economic reactivation. For the company it is extremely important to internationalize Ecuadorian products, which is why, through this project, it is intended to expand the exportable portfolio of finished products and encourage the change of the productive matrix. Crazy Corn born from the necessity that New Yorkers have about eating organic and gluten-free food that contribute to health and wellness. The company has meticulous production processes that allow reaching the quality standards expected by consumers in order to meet their expectations and achieve the desired market share. The company has ambitious goals, the same ones that are carried out through marketing strategies and the implementation of activities that help to create awareness of the brand in order to position itself in the market and in the mind of the consumer. To carry out this project, an investment of $27,472.90 dollars is required, which is contemplated under the assumption of 50% equity and 50% debt. The proposal projects a TIR of 24.46% and a NPV of $ 36,032.82 with a rate of return of $ 2.08. These data were obtained through projections made based on historical information of the industry and imports from the USA of the item 2008.19.90.90.
