Descripción : The aim of this research is to develop a Data Transmission System for a Meteorological Station; the project was designed and implemented to acquire meteorological variables using electronic sensors of low cost and based on a system of free hardware. The data logger has been developed with free software and hardware based on arduino, the system will be in charge of filtering, conditioning, processing, storing and transmitting the meteorological variables in real time. The developed station has photovoltaic power and a maximum autonomy of 12 hours in case there is no solar radiation. In the following chapters the electronic design of the system components such as weather shields, MPPT (Sunny Buddy LiPo) solar charge controller, WIFI module and electric communication circuit (Electric Imp) together to the subsystems that make up the station. The developed meteorological station has the capacity to measure atmospheric pressure, dew point, real humidity, ambient light level, precipitation, temperature, wind speed and direction. In addition, a free web server was developed which is in charge of receiving and ordering the meteorological information to finally present all the data acquired in real time and with statistical tables according to the requirements of the University of the Américas. The assembly of the station was done on a tripod of 3 meters in height and we used a hermetic cabinet to install the control system, power system and battery circuits. The tripod has three transverse plastic arms, two are located in the highest part of the tripod at 3 meters in height where the anemometer of the cups and weather vane and one is located to 2.5 meters of height with the rain gauge. The project came up with the idea of automating the acquisition and transmission of data from a meteorological station Weatherhawk 232 existing in the University of the Américas. The station has a system of private coding that means that you cannot manipulate your source code, to meet the objectives of the titling project a new system was developed to automatically transmit the meteorological variables mentioned.
