| Descripción : | The current investigation aims to describe the influence of the narrative intervention of “re-writing stories” in the personal agency of consultants in adulthood who attend a psychological care center. The role of the researcher is carried out in collaboration with a therapist of constructivist-constructionist approach, since the study is designed to realize within the therapeutic processes. To introduce the reader to the topic, it has been constructed a theoretical compilation on narrative therapy and personal agency. The type of study proposed is qualitative, where "reality" is defined by means of the constructions that the people involved perform, in this case several points of view converge: that of the researcher in the joint work with the therapist and the one made by the consultants, carrying out the study in an inter-subjective manner (Hernández, Fernández and Baptista, 2006, pp. 8-9). The proposed design is narrative, the scope of the research will be descriptive and the sample will be chosen non-probabilistically for convenience. It is expected, at the end of the study, to know if the "re-writing of stories" could be taken into account as a useful intervention in the construction of a more functional personal agency in each consultant, describing what elements of it have been promoted in the resulting narratives |
