Descripción : The present project aims at the design and implementation of a multi-feed system for satellite television, proposing mathematical calculations that allow each LNB to be placed, taking into account the orbital position of the satellites as well as the geographical position of Ecuador. Chapter I will detail a review of the work related to multi-feed systems for satellite television, in order to obtain relevant information about characteristics, advantages and feasibility for the implementation of this project; It will describe the components of a Satellite Communication System and the orientation of a parabolic antenna with its existing characteristics and types of LNB for C band. Chapter II, a description of the parabolic antenna type prime focus used in the present project will be made, in addition the calculations and design in the AutoCad software of the distances between feeds will be proposed, which will allow the correct implementation of the multi-feed system. Finally, the construction, assembly and implementation of the aforementioned system will be detailed. Chapter III will test the multi-feed model, which will use the spectrum analyzer and SatFinder satellite finder, which will allow the analysis of the results obtained from each of the satellites collectively and individually and explaining why the three satellites have been chosen. Chapter IV outlines the budget, materials and equipment used for the design and implementation of the multi-feed system. The amount invested for the implementation of the project will be reported, as well as the materials and equipment that were provided by the University of the Americas, which led to a decrease in the total value; additionally, the feasibility in the development of the present project will be clarified. Chapter V will present the conclusions and recommendations that were obtained after completion of the project.
