dc.descriptionThis project demonstrates how a song goes from being a simple composition of voice and guitar to an effective production of the third world, capable of developing competencies in the market. The appropriate processes of recording, mixing, and mastering are based on another song as a reference that will guide this production without leaving aside the intention of the composer, always transporting the listener to feel the same way as the composer. The single “Nuestro Lenguaje” belongs Miralmars the second album. The band has four years since it was established. The song gives the listener a feeling of joy and happiness, which is the essence of Reggae. In the preproduction process, the parts were defined, starting with the skankin of the Acoustic Guitar and the vocals. The Electric Guitar, Piano, Drums, and Bass where then incorporated to give the song body and meaning, which is musically required to reach a product that competes with other Reggae industries. The recording was first done by sections. This allowed us to mix each section independently, equalize separately, and mix the volume levels. The recording was adapted to accomplish a solid sound that portrays the meaning of the song. In Postproduction, before beginning the mastering process, each section including the drums, bass, acoustic guitar, electric guitar, piano, and vocals were bounced. Later, there was a session that was done in different layers that contained six audio clips and a Master one. This session helped highlight the various sounds and to control a-6dB for its next process. During the Mastering process, the single was equalized by highlighting high frequencies, lowering the medium frequencies, and defining the low ends. Finally, it was compressed and the signal was limited to increase the level to -0dB. This production used the song The Color from the reggae band FLOX as a reference, which was chosen as a sonorous example in this projecten
