| Descripción : | The Coffee Library Shop, “El Café Seco” was created due the need to promote the culture and reading in the North-Center of Quito, in the 10 de Agosto and Fray Antonio Marchena Streets, where different cultural sites can be found, like libraries, restaurants, offices and universities, also to recover a partially abandoned building. This establishment gives the opportunity of read and buy books with cultural and recreational endings, in which books like Best-Sellers, Tourism, Press, Culture and others can be found, these can be read while consuming food or drinks, also there is a space with different cultural events like Poetry, Music or Reading Nights, and Book Signing. The project is installed in the three last floors from a building of six, where the view is used to create a relaxed and comfortable environment along with the furniture and materials for the activities foreseen. |
