| Descripción : | The solution through bleaching to revert unwanted tooth tones, contraindicates adhesion to enamel during the first 15 days after bleaching, which is why several antioxidants are currently being investigated to reverse this adverse effect. Objective: To verify the effect of grape seed extract as an antioxidant on the adhesive resistance of post-bleaching enamel. Material and Methods: 30 bovine incisors were prepared with sackcloth carbide sandpaper and were randomly distributed in two groups and treated with 35 percent hydrogen peroxide: Control group (GC, did not receive antioxidant immediately postbleeding); Group grape seed extract (GU, received grape seed extract gel for 15 minutes immediately post-bleaching). In turn each group was divided into subgroups of 5 dental pieces according to the waiting time to perform the restoration: immediate restoration, at 7 days and at 14 days… |
