dc.description | In recent years, the population of the Chillos Valley has undergone a rapid growth basically caused by the climate factor, the good conditions of life and its proximity to the capital city which have made it an attractive area. In this sense, the population is growing, as well as the infrastructure in different types of services, regardless of cultural development areas for the population. For this reason, we present a new interior proposal of an “Ethno-historical Interactive Museum of Ecuadorian Folklore throughout the physical space of the "Valley Plaza Shopping Center”, located in The Triangle, a place of great commercial activity. Concept of " Traces of Life " is the one which gives the idea of design in this project because it is the exact description of what we want to do, display, analyze and disseminate through the evidence, customs and traditions left by our cultures over time in different areas of our country. The application of the concept "trace of Life” represents each historical period of Ecuador, taking into account its characteristics as a benchmark for design such as: colors and shapes, as well as giving dynamism to each space. Each zone that is proposed in the museum represents different periods: General Services Paleo-Indian period (5%), Exhibition Services Formative period (41%), Educational Services Regional Development period (26%), Public Services Integration period (25%) and Administrative Services Inca period (3%). All of these areas through the ceiling treatment , floor design, lighting, furniture, and creating open, ergonomic spaces, represent the evidence left in buildings, clothing, utensils, progress and the way of life of different cultures. In conclusion, this proposal has a modern trend which invites visitors to feel and live an unforgettable experience. | en |
