Descripción : The present project, is a business plan, which analyzes the viability to create of a university residence in the Valley of Cumbayá. The business proposal for the creation of a university residence, has as a main objective to cover all basic needs of its residents, providing services like, housing, feeding, cleanliness, safety and comfort, accommodating them in single rooms with shared bathroom. According with the market research carried out, the university residence is a well-accepted service among young students. The strategic business plan main aspiration is to be a reference of quality and service in a period of 5 years, putting an example in Quito of an internationally managed residence. The marketing plan has been designed to work with the application of new technologies Tics, these new marketing sources will be the way to position and promote the residence brand to reach on the objective market. The operations plan presents details of the installation capacity, processes and other analyzed, fundamental aspects for the operative functioning of the business. Being conceived like a small enterprise, the staff needed to complete de residence work will be four people. In accordance with the financial analysis, it is estimated that the project will reach the target of 75 % of occupation in the second year of functioning. With a projection of 10 years with a clear current value appears 2’10. 567. 04 and an internal valuation of comeback TIR equivalent to 19 %, therefore one concludes that the presented business proposal is viable.
