dc.description | In recent years tourism has grown considerably in Ecuador thanks to advertising campaigns which highlight the value of national brand that is thanks to the cultural wealth of this country. Significantly, the city of Quito is considered one of the top tourist destinations in South America and this level has increased to over the years. The business plan is a hostel with a theme of sports focused on a segment of foreign tourists who have cycling as a hobby and its practice, therefore it should be mentioned that cycling has grown in recent years in the country and this helps to encourage foreigners to perform this physical activity is one of the fastest growing sport globally speaking of the moment. Xtreme Bike Hostel offers a hosting service for foreign tourists visiting the city of Quito, focused on tourists with a certain fondness for cycling and their practice, who are between 21 and 32 years and have a preference for hostels as their primary means accommodation when traveling. The sports themed hostel is located in the area of the Mariscal, exactly in the Plaza Foch in the tourist heart of the city of Quito. This area was taken due to the concentration of foreign tourists generated by all existing attractions such as the case of bars, cafes, hostels, hotels, dance clubs, etc. The initial investment of the company is 28.103 dollars which includes everything as working capital, furniture, fixtures and equipment, hardware and software, household hostel and established fixed assets. This investment amount is divided into 2 parts: 60 percent is part of the investment of the partners and the remaining 40 percent is generated loan to a financial institution. Notably, the establishment where will be held the hostel is not bought, it rented is worth 4,000 dollars per month, for this reason does not need a very large amount of investment to start operating the hostel. | en |
