dc.description | Today, tourism is one of the most important industries worldwide. Traveling, enjoy relaxing or sports activities, visit places and experience different cultures, are the attractions that generate displacement of crowds. In this context and in an environment that is favorable to tourism ventures in the country, creating a cultural and tourist center in the city of Quito arises. In this center a service that includes teaching Spanish and - or quechua classes on gastronomy, history, culture and Ecuadorian history will be offered, all meet under cultural, historical and natural places, scatter, shopping, and with the possibility of experiencing social contact with sectors that require the continued support of the community. An analysis of the industry, the idea and the product was made, bringing opportunities and threats were obtained, with the pros in the industry that currently prevail in the country, for this type of business. A descriptive research, using survey techniques, interview and observation collected data needed to establish the market feasibility for the center of tourism and cultural services was designed. It was estimated to receive 720 tourists in the first year, covering 0,5% of the unmet demand; after completing the operation projections, it will reach 937 people receive the fifth year. Aspects of marketing, and operational organizations were reviewed, defining the need for investment to be financed by 57% by investors, since they have land and house where a suitable time, work the tourist business. Depending on the projection of expenses, positive economic figures were obtained, and after applying the indicators of financial evaluation, project feasibility was confirmed. | en |
