dc.description | Since the historical and scientific advancement of acoustics, has further developed the field of architectural acoustics, Scientifics have created new and interesting ways to control the sound within a room or hall. The use of materials carefully studied gives the designer more control of acoustic parameters; some of these materials are absorbent, reflective and diffusers. The diffusers are the focus in this research, which develops a new design with special features, technical specifications and details of their applications in different rooms, the diffuser is mainly based on geometrical acoustics, and explain the process of design and construction of the prototype, using "AFMG Reflex" software. The first step was the creation of four different prototypes, with simple geometrical figures like: Triangles, arcs or cubes, all based in acoustic theory, finally these systems were studied and compared.
