| Descripción : | This thesis was performed for complementation of tourist information point in the historic center of Quito, Morales Street specifically "La Ronda". The historic center of Quito is visited daily by tourists residents (hikers), nonresidents (domestic tourism) and foreign tourists (inbound tourism), in addition to tourist come here for reasons they do for work, shopping or study, and this the main reason for a strategic place as the round have an additional service to complement the visit and the visitor experience. Currently there is a bookstore in the round, which functions both as a tourist information point, but not being known for the tourist is not visited, therefore have been taken into account two research methods such as surveys and interviews with experts determined that the importance of complementing information at this point, to be made known and is helpful for tourists and visitors passing through. In Quito there are five tourist information points located in strategic places in and out of the city and places of mass as the Historical Center, the National Museum of the Central Bank of Ecuador, La Mariscal, Mariscal Sucre International Airport and Ground Terminal Quitumbe, its main objective is to provide information brochures, maps, books and advice about the city's attractions and activities that can be made therein, in addition to craft stores. Tourist Information Point "La Ronda" main purpose will complementarity of the current offer to provide additional information to guide tourists on activities that can be performed in the Historic Center, starting this as a reference point, and provide details about how to get or where they are located hotels, restaurants and churches around the respective opening hours. The importance of complementing and innovate the Tourist Information Point in the historic center of Quito is based on demonstrating that the round as well as being a transit and nightlife, you can help tourists instructing with any information you need, while providing objects that will serve as a memento of his visit. |
