| Descripción : | Caniterapia is complementary therapy of a dogs that has been held mainly to people with special needs and patients with cancer. Based in the “Consejo Nacional de Discapacidades del Ecuador” registers, it was possible to know the specific number of children with special needs and cancer (60.148 children), some of this children have not had the opportunity to take this kind of therapy because of some limiting factors such as, lack of knowledge, lack of money, or just because they do not have this kind of therapy in the place where they live. At the same time was possible to figure it out that there are only five legal centers around Ecuador which have provided this services to the patients from 2007 to 2012 with a total of 1.170 patients... |
