| Descripción : | This research analyzes the potential impact on the bilateral diplomatic relations between Ecuador and the United States, due to the diplomatic asylum to Julian Assange, founder of The WikiLeaks Organization. For a better understanding of the implications of Assange’s case, the following study examines the historical bilateral diplomatic relations between Ecuador - United States, as well as the different worldviews of the figure of a diplomatic asylum in America and Europe. Likewise, here are studied the origin; the information, the implications and the international community reactions concerning the military and diplomatic documents of the United States, published in the WikiLeaks site and the Newspapers around the world. Moreover, deeply analyzes the diplomatic asylum to Julian Assange by the Ecuadorian Embassy in London, the reasons why the Ecuadorian government granted such protection, and the U.S. entailment on Assange’s case, as one of the involved actors, also affected by the filtration… |
