Resumen : La normativa ambiental constituye uno de los instrumentos más utilizados para el control de la contaminación por ruido...
Descripción : Environmental regulations applying are the mostly used instrument in order to control noise pollution. Regulations may establish provisions to limit noise emissions by the regulated land use and daily operation time. Earlier national noise pollution regulations (Annex 5 Book VI of TULSMA, 2003), is limited regarding the definition of measurement method, that considers A weighting only, and it can be determined other technical limitations. That is why the review of the technical standard is essential after 11 years of usage. The development of the present thesis was carried out in two stages; the first one corresponds to an office work, making a diagnostic of environmental regulation process, application of the statutory provisions concerning standard noise and comparison between the regulation published on 2015 and earlier regulations. The second stage comprised a testing to compare the measurement procedure. Considering practical experiences, it can be established that the proposed measurement method for standard reviewing incorporates variables for quantification of low frequency noise and impact noise; on the other hand, reducing measurement times reflects a much more concrete measurement of a specific noise source, which results in deviations between repetitions per measurement point. In addition, literature reviewing shows that certain regulations such as noise mapping and noise perception determination by using surveys, requires the development of additional instructions for their implementation.
