Descripción : | In Ecuador the Architectural Acoustics, has not been given the necessary importance to the construction of premises for activities such as lectures, concerts, theaters, etc. It is in recent years that the Universidad de las Américas (UDLA) saw a need to create the Engineering Sound and Acoustics career. This Thesis work, is a viable solution for conditioning and sound insulation of the temple of a church, to improve the acoustic conditions, and thus to optimize transmission of the message of the speaker within the site. At the same time reduce the impact of environmental noise within the temple, and the sound generated within it in surrounding homes. To achieve this goal it has been used various tools such as: development software (AutoCAD, MAPP Online, Petras, EASE), measuring instruments (SLM). These tools helped develop plans, conduct simulations of the behavior of the room that includes: distribution noise, frequency response at different positions of the temple, the reverberation time, and the insulation provided by the walls, the behavior of speakers to be used in the church, and to make measurements of background noise in the place where the church will be built. After the design of the conditioning and sound insulation has been made, which is to conduct this project, since it will significantly improve the comfort of the speaker and the audience. It also concludes that it is a viable project, with regard to architecture, as in construction costs. |
