| Descripción : | This proposal addresses the desing and implementation of two black water home treatment using aerobic and anaerobic auto-cleansing systems of black and gray waters that come from a house located in the urbanization "La Viña". Nevertheless, this experience allowed us to conjugate the aforementioned processes, into a combined system of home water treatment (SCTAD in Spanish), with the objective of obtaining black treated water with optimum quality for its reuse in irrigation. We determined that the new adopted desing surpassed the expectations of treatment in terms of efficiency in reduction of levels of chemical oxygen demand; biochemical demand of oxygen, nitrates, phosphates and suspended solids; as such helping improve the quality of irrigation water and its final course in the San Pedro river, as compared with the established nominal values. |
