| Descripción : | Like any workplace, the laboratory must meet terms and conditions consistent with the provisions and follow safety and health laws, thereby preventing accidents at work and occupational diseases related to it. This work is carried out taking into account the need to establish security measures within the Environmental Protection Laboratory (LABPAM), for which a Workplace Risk Prevention Plan has been created, based on the analysis of the current situation of the organization on Occupational Health and Safety and current legal regulations. Chapter one of the following document contains an analysis of the current situation of the company, in which the organization of the laboratory is made known. Chapter two refers to the applicable legal framework on Health and Safety within the country and Chapter Three refers to those concepts necessary to define the final plans, presented in Chapter Five. Risk assessment is essential for its prevention; therefore, the guidelines established in the Procedure for Initial Identification and Risk Assessment in PETROECUADOR and its Subsidiaries have been used as a basis, and both the operational processes within the laboratory and the areas in which the staff develops have been reviewed.
