dc.description | EXPORT-TILAPIA is a new company whose main objective is to export canned seafood products to the American market. The target market is the state of Florida, but the company concentrates its efforts on satisfy the demand of three important cities: Miami, Tampa and Jacksonville. To carry out the export process, the company uses marketing and communication strategies focused on value added and differentiation that the product is offering to the consumers compared to the one that is already on the market, highlighting its nutrition benefits, flavor and quality. To determine the business viability bearing in mind that the company is new in the international market, the project performed a descriptive-conclusive research using qualitative methodology. EXPORT-TILAPIA offers canned tilapia in two presentations: tilapia in saltwater and tilapia in oil, everything is hundred percent natural and selected under the highest standards of quality. The project idea is to export the Ecuadorian tilapia that is well positioned in the American market like commodity as a manufactured product in order to keep in clients minds an image of quality and difference at the moment of purchase the product. | en |
