| dc.description | The main problem revolves around the adoption of a culture of patient safety, regarding the reporting of adverse events; This could be because the notification involves the use of time and after the notification, an improvement plan is requested to be carried out and monitored. In the Quality Unit, the aim is to propose a digital tool that facilitates and reduces reporting times for adverse events. Preliminary data reflect, through a diagnostic relevance survey, that at least 80 percent of participants suggest that valuable time is consumed. in the notification, which problematizes the process as such, so the possibility of facilitating the process of reporting adverse events is presented, consequently improving the quality of care and contributing to obtaining a real rate of adverse events in the surgery service. 1.2. General Objective Encourage nursing staff to report adverse events related to patient safety through the proposal of a digital tool in the Quality Unit of the Riobamba Provincial General Teaching Hospital. 1.3. Methodology This work was prepared using the CAPSTONE method, which allows problem resolution. The current problems in the Quality Unit have been analyzed and based on this, an objective tree has been developed in response to the problem tree; a logical framework matrix, which together allows us to establish knowledge and develop the skills and abilities of those who work in this important area. 6 1.4. | dc.description.abstract | La problemática principal gira en torno a la aceptación de cultura de seguridad del paciente, referente a notificar eventos adversos; esto podría deberse a que la notificación implica uso de tiempo y posterior a la notificación se solicita realización y seguimiento de un plan de mejora. En la Unidad de Calidad, se pretende proponer una herramienta digital que facilite y reduzca los tiempos de notificación de eventos adversos, datos preliminares reflejan a través de una encuesta de pertinencia diagnóstica que al menos del 78,58 por ciento de los participantes sugieren que probablemente no se realiza la notificación oportunamente, lo que problematiza el proceso como tal, por lo que se presenta la posibilidad de facilitar el proceso de notificación de eventos adversos en consecuencia optimar la calidad de atención y contribuir a obtener una tasa real de eventos adversos reportados en la unidad de calidad del Hospital Provincial General Docente Riobamba. 1.2. Objetivo general Fomentar en el personal de Enfermería la notificación de eventos adversos relacionados con la seguridad del paciente a través de la propuesta de una herramienta digital en la Unidad de Calidad del Hospital Provincial General Docente Riobamba. 1.3. Metodología Este trabajo fue elaborado utilizando el método CAPSTONE, que permite la resolución de problemas, se ha analizado la problemática actual en la Unidad de Calidad y en base a ello se ha elaborado un árbol de objetivos como respuesta al árbol de problema; una matriz de marco lógico, que conjuntamente permite fundar conocimiento y desarrollar las habilidades y capacidades de quienes laboran en esta importante área. 4 1.4. Resultados esperados Al realizar la propuesta de esta estrategia, se busca potenciar la calidad en los reportes notificados como eventos adversos realizados en la unidad de calidad por parte del servicio de cirugía, lo que conducirá a una mejor identificación de los riesgos y una mejor atención para los pacientes. | es_ES |
