| dc.description.abstract | El paso del tiempo ha provocado un deterioro acelerado de los equipos biomédicos en el Ecuador, es por ello que uno de los problemas visibles a nivel nacional en los establecimientos de salud destaca la falta de equipos operativos, provocando que los usuarios de los diferentes servicios no puedan realizarse los estudios complementarios para un diagnóstico oportuno para un tratamiento efectivo y a tiempo. En este trabajo podemos destacar la priorización de establecimientos de salud para la dotación de equipos de tomografía en hospitales priorizados por el MSP a nivel nacional. Teniendo como objetivo disminuir el número de derivaciones hacia prestadores externos y disminuyendo el gasto ocasionado por esta acción. Para esto se ha verificado la falta de cambio de tecnologías en hospitales y centros que tienen en su cartera de servicios el área de imagen. Se destaca, que la habilitación de este servicio resolverá en 90 por ciento el diagnóstico por parte del personal médico. Uno de los inconvenientes que se ha desarrollado es la falta de personal técnico que ayude a mantener operativos los equipos incrementando su vida útil. | es_ES |
