| dc.description | The Saraguro health center in Ecuador is in a challenging situation due to limited resources, lack of training, lack of follow up, and communication problems. The scarcity of resources in this health center creates obstacles to the acquisition of essential medical supplies and equipment to provide quality care to the population. Likewise, the lack of resources can limit the availability of specialized medical services, which in turn, can negatively impact the quality of care offered. The main objective was to design strategies to improve the quality of care for the population at the Saraguro health center. For the methodology, the quantitative research approach and a descriptive analysis of a cross sectional type were used. For the investigation, a non probabilistic sample of 50 patients who attend the Saraguro Health Center was selected, to whom a survey was applied. The main results obtained were that in the infrastructure of the Saraguro health center, orientation and accessibility stand out positively, but with areas of improvement in the visual aspect and modernization of the infrastructure. In conclusion, the management of resources and the infrastructure of the Saraguro health center are key elements to improve the confidence of patients in the health system. The repair and maintenance of the infrastructure will ensure the safety and comfort of patients, and therefore increase their confidence in the medical care they receive. | es_ES |
| dc.description.abstract | El centro de salud Saraguro en Ecuador se encuentra en una situación desafiante debido a limitaciones en recursos, falta de capacitación, falta de seguimiento y problemas de comunicación. La escasez de recursos en este centro de salud genera obstáculos para la adquisición de suministros y equipos médicos indispensables para brindar atención de calidad a la población. Asimismo, la falta de recursos puede limitar la disponibilidad de servicios médicos especializados, lo que a su vez, puede impactar negativamente la calidad de atención ofrecida. El objetivo principal fue diseñar estrategias para mejorar la calidad de atención a la población en el centro de salud Saraguro. Para la metodología se empleó el enfoque de investigación cuantitativo y un análisis descriptivo de tipo transversal. Para la investigación se seleccionó una muestra no probabilística de 50 pacientes que acuden al Centro de Salud de Saraguro, a quienes se les aplicó una encuesta. Los principales resultados obtenidos fueron que en la infraestructura del centro de salud de Saraguro, se destaca positivamente la orientación y accesibilidad, pero con áreas de mejora en el aspecto visual y modernización de la infraestructura. Como conclusión la gestión de los recursos y la infraestructura del centro de salud Saraguro, son elementos clave para mejorar la confianza de los pacientes en el sistema de salud. Por lo tanto la reparación y mantenimiento de la infraestructura, aumentará la seguridad y comodidad del paciente. | es_ES |
