Descripción : Well child check up is the number of visits made to children by a pediatrician, identifying weight, height, BMI, head circumference, dental growth, language development and psychomotor development. The method used during the project was the application of a survey in which 32 mothers from the Caspigasí Children´s Center participated. From the data obtained, it was determined that the mothers had knowledge of the subject, so they did not need to strengthen their knowledge; however, the director stated verbally that the mothers during their permanence have not presented compliance in previous activities on health, proceeding to the compliance with the proposed workshop, taking into account the results obtained in the survey. Taking into account the above, a workshop was carried out with the objective of strengthening the knowledge of healthy child control in the mother´s environment, with the topics of number of pediatric controls, nutritional habits, immunizations and relation of economic expenses with customs, which were more relevant in the results obtained. In the same way the results were reflected in a post test of 32 mothers of family where it was determined that 88 percent recognized about the exposed topics while 12 percent in certain questions did not reflect the positive results, which result shows a greater uptake by the mothers with respect to the different topics discussed, determining as feasible and viable for implementation in other institutions, the health proposal should be used on a monthly basis with the main participation of nurse, doctor and nutritionist.
