| dc.description | The Prehospital Care service is a fundamental part of the health system, since it involves all the attention and care that the patient will receive prior to arrival and transfer to a health home, the most of patients who require this service are those who have suddenly suffered related events with trauma traffic accidents or clinical events coronary syndromes, alteration of consciousness, cerebrovascular accidents. It is impossible not to associate the words prehospital care with response vehicles for emergency care ambulances, however prehospital care is a more complex service which not only includes ambulances, but also involves the human talent, which must comply with a series of protocols and care guides that are constantly updated, and the direct and indirect participation of other factors such as health homes and shift policies. Currently the Prehospital Care service acts in coordination with the ECU 911 Integrated Security Service to receive in a coordinated manner any health emergency call and provide timely emergency care in the shortest possible time, however, it is common to listen to the users of said line emergency mention that when requesting the service, unfortunately there is no availability units ambulances to meet this requirement. The present work aims to analyze and establish the main causes that limit the Prehospital Care Service at the Teófilo Dávila Hospital in the Machala canton, El Oro Province, Machala canton, and to quantify the total care provided by said units ambulances as well as to compare this service with the of other cantons in the Province with the objective of strengthening the Organization Management Model and operation of the Mobile Health Care Service and medicalized Transportation. | es_ES |
| dc.description.abstract | El servicio de Atención Prehospitalaria es parte fundamental del sistema sanitario, pues involucra todas las atenciones y cuidados que recibirá el paciente previa llegada y traslado a una casa de salud, la mayoría de los pacientes que requieren este servicio son quienes han sufrido de manera súbita eventos relacionados con trauma accidentes de tránsito o eventos clínicos síndromes coronarios, alteración de la conciencia, accidentes cerebro vasculares. Es imposible no asociar las palabras atención prehospitalaria a vehículos de respuesta para atención de emergencias ambulancias, sin embargo la atención prehospitalaria es un servicio más complejo el cual no solo comprende ambulancias, sino que involucra también el talento humano, el cual debe cumplir con una serie de protocolos y guías de atención que se actualizan constantemente, y la participación directa e indirecta de otros factores como lo son las casas de salud y las políticas de turno. En la actualidad el servicio de Atención Prehospitalaria actúa de manera coordinada con el Servicio Integrado de Seguridad ECU 911 con la finalidad de receptar de manera coordinada cualquier llamado de emergencia sanitaria y brindar la atención oportuna por emergencia en el menor tiempo posible, sin embargo, es frecuente escuchar a los usuarios de dicha línea de emergencia mencionar que al solicitar el servicio, lamentablemente no hay disponibles unidades ambulancias para solventar dicho requerimiento. El presente trabajo pretende analizar y establecer las principales causas que limitan el Servicio de Atención Prehospitalaria en el Hospital Teófilo Dávila del cantón Machala, Provincia de El Oro y cuantificar el total de atenciones realizadas por dichas unidades ambulancias así como también comparar este servicio con el de otros cantones en la Provincia con el objetivo de fortalecer el Modelo de Gestión de Organización y funcionamiento del Servicio de Atención de Salud Móvil y Transporte medicalizado. | es_ES |
