Descripción : Controlling the production of a drug in the face of a growing global problem that will undoubtedly affect a large part of the population because it is considered a pandemic, is a very difficult challenge to face. For Roche, being the pharmaceutical company in charge of providing the drug that will be used worldwide to reduce the impact and safeguard people from the virus, generates an unimaginable burden of responsibility. Not only the production, but also the distribution and therefore the logistics of the company comes into play, since having to increase its operation in such a way, triggers the problem of study on which this work is developed, being how Roche will react to this demand. Having used multiple support tools for the analysis and finding a viable solution to the problem, it was possible to conclude that, getting quality outsourced suppliers that meet the high requirements established by the Swiss firm will allow the company to cover all the demand and the demands created for this product, in the same way the logistics will be affected but its capacity will be increased, achieving a benefit not only for the short term but in the future, allowing the development of the pharmaceutical company and its growth.
