Descripción : The following work has as its purpose to determine the feasibility of exporting precooked integral rice towards New York, United States of America with the following certificates: BPM, ISO 22000, ISO 9000 y AAA. To be able to know the market PESTEL, PORTER and EFE matrix analysis were done so that, through them it was possible to know the political, economic, social, legal and environmental factors about the involved countries, Ecuador and the United States and therefor find viable strategies in order to the project to be accepted. The specific aimed market segment is the one established by eradicated Ecuadorians in New York City in between the age of 20 and 54 years in all the economic levels range. In order to identify their consumption habits, polls were made to the people of the people in the aimed segment and it was concluded that the presentation which will be offered to these consumers will be of 20 pounds at a cost of 18.78 dollars. This price is set due to consumers knowing that the value of obtaining a product coming from their origin country and therefore a healthier product. The product fabrication is base in dehydrating it in order to precook it and lastly package it. The financing will be made in two parts, 60 percent from the shareholders and 40 percent form a bank credit. Finally the financial indicators, as the Net Present Value (NPV) show positive values being higher that the initial investment values starting from the fourth year, the internal rate of return is higher than the WACC and the investors internal rate of return is higher than the CAPM, resulting as a conclusion that the exporting of precooked integral rice with certification is viable.
