Descripción : Little: AESTHETIC PREFERENCE OF MAXILLOFACIAL SURGEONS, ORTHODONTISTS AND GENERAL DENTISTS OF THREE ECUADORIAN RACES FACIAL PROFILE WHEN IT IS MODIFIED IN THE NEMOCEPH PROGRAM. Objective: To stablish the aesthetic preference of maxillofacial surgeons, orthodontists and general dentists when evaluating the facial profile of three Ecuadorian races, modified in the Nemoceph program. Materials and Methods: Through genetic tests, 6 people were identified; 2 of each race, male and female respectively between 22 and 35 years old, who underwent a lateral x-ray and profile photographs. Using the Nemoceph program, these imagines were modified obtaining 7 different profiles that were evaluated by 99 people (35 general dentists, 33 orthodontists and 31 maxillofacial surgeons) on an analog scale, the statistical analyzes were processed with RStudio and IBM SPSS version 25 statistical packages. The score given by the maxillofacial surgeons, orthodontists and general dentists for each profile were compared with Kruskal-Wallis test. Results: It was found that the preference of professionals at general level regarding aesthetics of the facial profile in black men and women were very similar, among the most accepted profile there is maxillary birretrusión (F) with means 2.21 in men and 2.36 women; for esthetic preference for men and women of mixed race, greater acceptance was observed for normal patient profiles (D) with means 2.24 in men and 2.23 in women and for the men and women of indigenous race, it showed greater acceptance for normal patients profiles (D) with means 2.04 in men and 2.49. Conclusions: The aesthetic preference of the facial profile by both maxillofacial surgeons, orthodontist a general dentist did not have a significant difference when evaluating the facial profile of three Ecuadorian races.
