dc.descriptionThe beauty industry in Mexico represents the second most important market, after Brazil, in Latin America (Forbes, 2018). The consumption trends of the Mexican market are increasing because of the lives condition of Mexican consumers, this external condition requires them to dedicate part of their time and money to skin care, external factors such as climate and environmental pollution, directly attack one of the most sensitive organs of the human body, the skin. One of the most representative products of Ecuadorian production is the rose, this type of flower distinguish from others around the world because of its variety of colors, the size of the stem, the nutrients and vitamins contained in its petals; The properties of roses and their anti-inflammatory, moisturizing and healing benefits on the skin, ended in the idea of create a facial toner based on Ecuadorian roses, which emphasis is the naturalness of its main component. For this reason, the present business plan has the general objective of analyze the viability of producing and exporting this facial toner to Mexico City (CDMX), the Mexican capital. This is why an investigation of external and internal environments has been made, where opportunities and threats were defined for the exportation of this facial tonic from Ecuadorian roses to this Mexican city. On the other hand, a market research has been done showing important conclusions based on consumer preferences about facial care products, also the target market was determined to be Mexican females, residents in Ciudad de México between 20 and 50 years old. Marketing strategies were also defined to achieve the attention of consumers and their loyalty to the product based on their consumption preferences. Finally, a financial analysis has been made with a five-year projection, with an initial investment of 24,677.05 dollars, obtaining the following results, a net present value of 10,075.70 dollars and an internal rate of return of 20, 70 per cent. These positive criteria indicate the viability of the project.en
