| dc.description | Objective: to apply the DATO philosophy (disocclusion, three-dimensional alignment and occlusion) in comprehensive oral rehabilitation of a clinical case of a class III male patient. Materials and methods: considered a 55-year-old male patient with a semiedentulous upper total, and a lower dentition with a Esqueletal III class, with loss of vertical dimension and aesthetic compromise, who attended the Dental Clinic of the University of the Americas. The impression was taken, and models were fixed in a semi-adjustable articulator. With tomographic assistance, the complete rehabilitation was chosen with the DATO philosophy, which included: implants, crowns, veneers and a fixed porcelain bridge, which allowed functional reconstruction. and aesthetics of the patient. Results: the function of the stomatal system was returned, in addition to an important aesthetic improvement, by means of a provisionalization technique and the use of bis-acrylic resins.
