Descripción : This study aims to identify the difference in hostile and benevolent sexism between gender, in Ecuadorian adolescents. Participants were selected from a previous study carried out by the research professor Paula Yépez and collaborators, in 2017. The sample selected is going to be comprised by 315 adolescent school students from public, private, and municipal schools, aged between 12 to 18 years. For data collection participants were given a sociodemographic questionnaire, from which the variables school, grade, sex, age, and romantic relationship are going to be considered. Also, the Ambivalent Sexism Inventory for adolescents (ISA) was applied, from which variables such as hostile sexism and benevolent sexism are going to be studied. The data analysis is going to be carried out in SPSS program, for the inferential and descriptive statistical analysis considering a two group no experimental design. Since this is a quantitative study with a correlational approach, a t test is proposed for comparing hostile and benevolent sexism in Ecuadorian adolescents. This study also presents different intervention proposals and their application to the Ecuadorian context.
