Resumen : Objetivo: Determinar el grado de precisión posicional de transfers al usar cuatro materiales de ferulización para la toma de impresión sobre implantes dentales...
Descripción : Objective: Determine the degree of transfer 's positional precision when four splinting materials are used to take impressions on dental implants. Materials and Methods: A model pattern was done using 4 analogs of multi-unit from dental implants located in the lateral incisors region and the second premolar region, which are parallel and equidistant among them, these are named M1, M2, M3 and M4. Reference marks were added in the distal and mesial zone of the multi-unit analog of pattern model used to make the measurements. 20 samples were produced in total, 5 samples corresponding to the Duralay splinting material, 5 samples with Pattern Resin LS, 5 samples with Structur and another 5 with Protemp TM 4. Four distances were established for the measurements: distance A, B, C and D. For the initial measurement as well for the final, it was established a sequential order and a digital calibrator was implemented (INSIZE). Results: In the measurement from distance A, the splinting materials which have better performance are Pattern Resin (prom equal 38,59 mm) and Duralay (prom equal 38,5872 mm) in comparison to the base (prom equal 38,5975 mm). In the distance B measurement, the materials that show better performance are Pattern Resin (prom equal 19,0860 mm) and Duralay (prom equal 19,0790 mm) in comparison to the base (prom equal 19,0860 mm). In the distance C measurement, there are three splinting materials which do not show significant differences in comparison to their base (prom equal 18,8586). These materials are Pattern Resin (prom equal 18,86 mm), Structur (prom equal 18,8594 mm) and Duralay (prom equal 18,8562 mm). Finally, in the distance D measurement, the splinting materials that showed better performance in comparison to their base (prom equal 20,47 mm) are Pattern Resin (prom equal 20,4668 mm) and Duralay (prom equal 20,4608 mm). Conclusion: The materials that do not show significant differences when compared to the base model are the acrylic resins Pattern Resin, followed by Duralay. In the case of bis-acrylic resins, Structure and Protemp TM 4, which were materials that showed negative results for the research.
