Descripción : In recent years, the trend of cats as pets at home has increased significantly. This is why the feline facial pheromone could be included as an effective tool of management due to more cases of felines patients than canines. Feline medicine is one of the most complex branches in veterinary medicine, this is because cats are temperamental animals, causing a significant number of accidents due to attacks such as bites, pointed out by the World Health Organization (WHO) in the year 2013. The present work has the aim of this study to perform a systematic review on the use of synthetic facial pheromone in feline patients for the management of unwanted behavior, collecting information from selected scientific articles obtained once the formula has been made in the Scopus database, through the formula made with Boléan connectors and keywords to exclude articles that are not related to the topic and then using the PRISM method and rating each article with the help of the platform Ficha de lectura crítica 3.0, using only the articles with high marks, in order to obtain the results of each researcher, analyzing and comparing them, to know if the results coincide on the research question, which would tell us whether the use of synthetic facial pheromone does or does not allow controlling unwanted behaviors in cats. The number of articles obtained with the research formula were 149 of which 141 articles were excluded. When evaluating each article only 5 obtained a high rating, and were used for the systematic review. Finally, it is determined that the effectivity of the FFS is related to the time that the cat is exposed to the FFS, and the same time there is a lack of evidence on whether sex is related to the FFS effectivity.
