Resumen : Analizar el efecto del tiempo de práctica de yoga con respecto al equilibrio, agilidad y control lumbopélvico...
Descripción : To analyze the effect of yoga practice time with respect to balance, agility and lumbopelvic control 30 participants who practice yoga between the ages of 17 to 34 years, female and male, who were divided into three groups taking into account the time they have practiced yoga, group 1; 2 to4 months of practice, group2; 6 to 8 months of practice and group 3; 12 to 18 months of practice, the three groups underwent an evaluation session which included the evaluation of the balance through the excursion balance test, the agility through the Illionois agility test and the lumbopelvic control using the Sahrmann test. The agility did not determine significant differences in the evaluation of the three groups F 2,27 equal 1,771, p equal 0,814. In the balance, the evaluation projected differences between the groups evaluated the lower right limb F 2, 27 equal 1349,633, p equal 0,000, between group 1 and 2 p equal 0,009; between group 1 and 3 p equal 0.000 and between group 2 and 3 p equal 0.034 and lower left limb F 2.27 equal 1747.942, p equal 0.000, between group 1 and 2 p equal 0.040; between group 1 and 3 p equal 0.000 and between group 2 and 3 p equal 0.003. In the lumbopelvic control, the results showed the differences between the groups F 2,27 equal 13,472, p equal 0,001, between group 1 and 2 p equal 0,140, between group 2 and 3 p equal 0,281 and between group 1 and 3 p equal 0.001. Yoga positively influences of balance and lumbopelvic control and there is a relationship directly proportional to the practice time of this discipline. The agility is not related to the practice of yoga.
