| Descripción : | In oral rehabilitation it is very important to choose the dental color to provide the patient with a successful treatment with natural results of both their prostheses and aesthetic restorations, professionals have the difficulty of choosing the exact color because the most common method used in dentistry is the visual, Taking into account that the taking of color through the human eye creates a variety of results among different operators, the design of the protocol for color selection was made using mobile technology, which was compared with two selection methods of the dental color as Vita Classic and Easy Shade, operated by three observers one for each method determining the dental color of 40 samples. The comparison values indicated that the designed protocol had a moderate agreement with the gold standard. So that it could be a good objective alternative in this type of procedures, it is important that the protocol be tested for improvement and improvement in future work, taking into account its superior concordance to the visual method (Vita classic) and affordability. costs compared to the gold standard (Easy Shade). |
