Descripción : The main objective of the actual business plan is to determine the viability in the social and financial aspects of the creation of a sports facility destined to the practice of baseball in a period of five years. This project has its origin thanks to new sports trends, product of the high migration that Ecuador has lived in recent years of foreigners whose main sport is baseball which do not have an appropriate space for their practice and development in the city of Quito. The development of the business plan began with the analysis of the external environment (PEST), of the industry (PORTER) and analysis of the EFE matrix of the industry in which it is positioned (R9311.03); which allows to select and evaluate optimal opportunities and threats that affect the performance of the project. We continued conducting research and analysis of the client through the implementation of qualitative and quantitative methodology, which received knowledge about tastes and preferences of potential customers; the use of tolos such as the focus group, interviews with experts and surveys allowed to know about the level of acceptance of the project and a guide for the selection of appropriate strategies that fit the segmentation and inclination of the target market. It is for this reason that the selection of a focus strategy allows a high effectiveness since currently there are no adequate spaces to satisfy the need to practice baseball properly. On the other hand, what refers to the structure of the organization, a hierarchical order adapted to the organization and type of business was implemented. Lastly, a financial analysis model was carried out to determine the viability of the project. To resume, there is currently a demand for an appropriate space for the practice of baseball by a small segment of the market. However, the project proves to be viable according to the market research and the financial analysis carried out.
