Descripción : The objective of this project is to analyze the feasibility of exporting frozen pre-cooked fried plantain to Europe, specifically, the city of Madrid-Spain. The market which the product will be direct, are the Ecuadorian migrants that living in the before mentioned city, finding satisfy their needs, through a quality and traditional Ecuadorian product. From this, the idea of creating Ecufrozen, an Ecuadorian brand, was developed, it is located in the city of Quito, producer and exporter of frozen precooked fried plantain. To begin with, it has been made an internal and external analysis of the local and foreign industry was developed, in order to identify the opportunities and threats of the project. Also, Spain was selected as the destination of the product, because it is one of the main countries that Ecuadorians choose when traveling. On the other hand, qualitative and quantitative research was carried out, with the objective of identifying the market segment to which the product will be directed; the results of the same reflected a possible sale to Ecuadorian men and women residing in the city of Madrid with an age range between 25 to 50 years, through distribution to the most popular supermarket chains by the target consumer. Finally, a financial plan with a duration of 5 years was developed, this tool allowed to know important information about investment and capital management. The investment required for the project is 105,599.94 dollars and the period in which the total investment is recovered is 4.07 years, while the profitability index indicates that for each dollar invested a return of 1.76 dollars is obtained for the project.
