Resumen : El uso de postes intra radiculares es muy común en la práctica odontológica, por ese motivo este estudio quiere determinar cuál presenta la mayor resistencia a la tracción...
Descripción : The use of intra radicular posts is very common in dental practice, for this reason this study wants to determine which has the highest resistance to traction. Main goal The objective of this research is to evaluate the degree of traction of two types of fiber posts cemented with universal self-adhesive resin, in this way to determine which post presents the best results. Materials and methods A sample of 40 premolars was used, endodontically treated, until the 40th file and sealed with the single cone technique, the entire sample was disbated 10mm. The sample was divided into 2 groups, a group A that will be for fiberglass poles and group B for quartz fiber posts, cemented with RelyX U200, the samples were subjected to a thermocycling machine to produce 1 year of dental aging , to then be subjected to a micro tension machine semi-universal microtensil, to determine the degree of tensile strength of each sample. Results Statistical analysis of both variables was used the statistical program SPSS. Results: It was determined that the group of quartz fiber posts possesses a higher tensile strength than the glass fiber group with a difference in the average of 20.34 Newtons. Conclusions This study determined that quartz posts have better tensile results than fiberglass poles. The thermocycling produced an aging in the adhesion between the post-cement-dentin.
