dc.description | The career of Nursing, seen from its ideological perspective counts with models and theories that support its work. This research seeks to establish the levels of application of the model of Nola Pender applied to adult patients that count with arterial hypertension, in order to set processes of valuation to the adult patient through this model and elaborate an action plan. Objective: Propose a care plan and the algorithm for nursing care for patients with hypertension. Methods: This work is qualitative-quantitative cross-descriptive type, the universe is represented by all professionals in nursing, and the sample is of a proactive or judgment type since people were chosen in a random way and the data were analyzed in a critical way ; choosing a total of 20 people who particularly attended the research congress held in the hospital institution, the method for collecting data is through a questionnaire-type survey, in addition to the contribution of a guide for assessment by domains used in a directed activity in the research congress. Results: It is awaited to elaborate an action plan whose components will be: a nursing care plan and an algorithm for the care of patients with arterial hypertension, their application Will allow the implementation of improvements in the quality of care. Thanks to the survey applied to the nursery staff, the following information could be found: the 40 percent of the nursing professionals DO apply the PAE in their services and 60 percent DO NOT. 55 percent of the nursing professionals DO you use the valuation to prepare PAE of their patients, while 45 percent DO NOT use it. Conclusion: The hospital treatment for a patient with arterial hypertension is based on multidisciplinary work, nursing in this framework is key for contributing to the guarantee of patient safety, there upon, the proposed action plan for improving the quality of care is a paramount contribution. | en |
