| dc.description | Currently, environmental management companies have become part of the productive chain of chemical, pharmaceutical, petrochemical and other companies. That is why the company TanquePlas Lascano CIA LTDA. Is obliged to make continuous improvements in terms of its production process of reconditioning of metal containers, plastics and IBC, focusing on improving the competitive advantage. The objective of this degree work is to improve the production of the 55-gallon metal packaging reconditioning line, trough of process management and time study. The environmental management company, where the titling study was carried out, is in the south of Quito and is dedicated to the reconditioning metallic, plastic and IBC containers. The company has a star product that is the 55-gallon metal packaging that is the most wanted by high-end customers, as the management company calls them. In order to meet the objectives, set for the titling work, were performed different activities such as the lifting of the production processes of the company, the layout (BPM), the value chain, taking times in the appropriate formats, the balancing of the line, the calculation of the standard time and current VSM. With the previous study that was carried out, several improvements were proposed, including the SOS sheets, the audits of the 5Ss, the rolling of the line, the improved VSM and the technical data sheet of the flagship product.
