dc.descriptionThis project constitutes a business plan for the implementation of a funeral services, for which calls for an analysis of environment and target market. It determines the sector and the industry in which the company belongs, while at the same time establishes the important aspects such as: mission, vision, objectives, Porter forces and SWOT (strengths, weakness, opportunities and threats). The Market Research chapter is a qualitative study to identify potential customers, define the size, niche market and competitive analysis, in which they have interviews with experts in terms of processes and market knowledge. The Marketing Plan chapter identifies activities that focus on marketing strategies (product, price, place and promotion); further establishing the sales methods and tactics applied in advertising and distribution companies. The Design and Development Plan sets out possible difficulties and risks which a company could experience, so that it can identify possible solutions, in addition to planning the diversification of funeral services. The Operations Plan details the process to give the funeral services, specifies the requirements of raw materials and equipment, tools and details of the processing plant infrastructure. Within the Management Team, they discuss the roles of each member of the organization, and establish the rights, restrictions and obligations of shareholders and investors in the company. The schedule is set which specifies the time where activities begin until the first sale of the merchandise. The financial analysis is based on assumptions that detail the structure of capital investments, costs, expenses, working capital, cash flow projected to five years. We analyze the IRR (internal rate of return) and NPV (net present value) in the optimistic scenario, normal and pessimistic, where also the point of equilibrium is identified. Finally, we report the findings and recommendations that have been reached once the analysis of this business plan is finalized.en
