There are only a few Ecuadorian families that did not have to experience a family member or friend migrating to other countries in search of a better economic situation to survive. Nowadays, there are a lot of Ecuadorians living in other countries, being the most popular ones the United States and Spain, where most of them are fighting to obtain their residency and that is the reason why they have not returned to their home country. This reality inspired this business plan, which is about a start-up that will take place in Quito, Ecuador and which will elaborate “shigras” of pita and a box with Ecuadorian products that will be called, “the immigrant kit”, with hopes that these products awaken some sort of feeling in the immigrant population in the U. S. “Ecuadorian Mystery Bag”, will get their products from the province of Imbabura, location in which the pita grows and the leather is produced, products used in order to make the “shigras” The main goal of this project is to prove how likely it is to export these products to the U.S, selected as one of the best market options, because of its large Ecuadorian immigrant amount and its commercial and geographic proximity, followed by Spain as a second-best market option. This product will be sold in an online store, which will carry all the products portfolio and will allow the clients to make modifications as desired to their chosen product. This way, it will provide a direct selling and communicating dynamic with the chosen segment. To have success with our targeted market, which is highly competitive, positioning strategies such as “more for more” will be needed for the product as well as adapting strategies, which will seek to highlight the product is superior value vs the competition is. All of this will be supported by the strategies provided in the Marketing Mix. Additionally, the products will be sent directly to the client via FedEx, leading courier company in the destination country. In order to start the business operation, 60 864 dollars are needed, from which 35% will belong to the stakeholders, and the remaining will be obtained through a loan from a local bank.en
